AttestaCare AI is used by people of different ages, abilities, and levels of comfort with technology -- including people receiving care, family members, and care workers across a range of circumstances. Building for that range is a design requirement, not an afterthought.
What that means in practice, and what we’re still working on:
What we build for today
- Keyboard-navigable interfaces, with visible focus states on interactive elements
- Semantic HTML and ARIA labelling on interactive components, including navigation menus and forms
- Colour choices designed for reasonable contrast between text and background
- Minimum touch target sizes on mobile for interactive controls
- Support for English, Dutch, and German across the platform
Where we’re still improving
We have not yet completed a formal accessibility audit against WCAG or an equivalent standard, and we’re not claiming full conformance. Accessibility is an ongoing area of work as the platform grows, not a box we’ve checked once.
